I think you are not aware of this. You have to purchase while entering any where in OMR. If you want to exit OMR through the same toll, you have get return toll ticket which is Rs 30.

You get a receipt and you can use the same to exit ECR toll.</i> Actually they issue you someting called a "zero rupee ticket" which you are supposed to surrender on the opposite sid. i.e if you enter from Medavakkam and say you are going to ECR, they give you a zero rupee ticket, which you surrender at the ECR side exit. The toll boot attendants at Perungudi and Siruseri exits are supposed to check this, but during the peak traffic sometimes just don't bother. Even though I do agree that in the current state OMR is just not worthy of being called an IT highway/expressway/toll road, this is a dishonest practice and our IT kepmaris of all people can very well afford to spend this money.
