Velacherry is already a place of nightmare with traffic congestion, low lying and water logging besides the intolerable / unbearable / unpleasant smell coming out from the Pallikaranai which is so close to Velacherry Metro Rly Station. With the onset of monsoon rains in few months, Oh My God………. the smell will lead you straight to hospital with any disease. I would advise please dont even think of Velacherry. With all certain blogs, the real estate people simply raise the price there. But it is not worth the price. The roads are dreadful to walk / cross or drive.
