Sathesh on Chennai RE Prices Its been so long since I visited this site(used to be blog, now a website) Nice! Good job Uday!I am still waiting to buy the apartment in chennai. I am in no hurry. Cash is the king. Its going to be 50% down payment ;-) but ready to wait few more years. I dont see the market picking up anytime soon, either in India or in US ;)

Sai Sarovar -Velachery, Owner’s Pride Neighbor’s Envy

sai-sarovar-smallEveryone who is hunting for a property looks for certain aspects which includes but not limited to Good construction, Prompt delivery, Good maintenance of the property, Clean Surrounding,Safety, availability of essentials like grocery stores, food bazaar’s, Laundry, schools, colleges, near to work place etc etc.

Well if one can get all this then there is nothing like that. It should be one of the best places to live in chennai. I considered my self lucky to stay in SAI SAROVAR in BYE PASS ROAD VELACHERY which satisfies all the points mentioned above. Completed around 2003, the majestic 10 floors apartment complex was built by REAL VALUE PROMOTERS,Chennai. True to its name, the builder infact offered Real Value to its customers.

So whats unique about Sai Sarovar. Not only did it change the very image of Velachery, but was catalyst to numerous other High rise buildings.Today Velachery is termed as next Adyar. So in case you move into Sai Sarovar, you can expect the following

    Well Maintained Secure Apartments
    Calm Living
Host of Door step services including Groceries, Iron, Laundry, Vegetables, Paper, Milk, Bill Payments including Cable, Electricity etc
Most of the residents here are Owners so expect good neighbor’s.
Food supermarkets like Spencer’s Daily just a walk away.
Medical shop’s adjacent to the building
    Lot of Hospitals nearby
Ratna Cafe just 5 min walk
No Water Problem. This apartment complex is just adjacent to Chennai’s Metro Water Facility and there is no shortage of municipal water eve though they have their own bore well water.
Ladies would be very happy to have NAIDU HALL’s NAIHA within 5 min walk.
The buses of all major IT companies including Cognizant,Satyam,Xansa,TCS,Wipro etc stop just outside the apartment gate

I really repented not going for house here when the apartment prices where around Rs 1300 in 2003. Now it should cost more but even last year there were one or two 3 BHK apartments which got sold for Rs 35 lakhs. If you are hunting for a good second hand property (used property) in chennai, then check out if anything is available for sale here.

I observed that a lot of apartments get sold purely by word of mouth instead of advertising. So I would advise you to visit the property you like and let the secretary of the apartment know about your interests in buying an apartment there. Most likely you would get a call when there is a sale.

Good Luck.
