Investing in Tirchy – KK Estates

I was quite attracted by this article in hindu. Not sure what the national paper gains by posting an article about a local project in Tirchy. Did not look like an advestisement. It talks about residential land for sale in Tirchy’s Veerappa Nagar. I checked with KK Estates and they are qouting a price of Rs 175 per sq ft and mimimum available area is 1800 upto 2400 square feet or more. Do think about this, even the hindu says its worth it.

Here goes the hindu article.

A man in a modern society is always in need of a place where he could shelter himself. The natural choice in most cases would be one’s own home. But owning a home which is ideal in all respects is more difficult than it seems to be. But one could over come this problem if one thinks wisely. K.K.Estate, a pioneer institution in real-estate business has come up with an ideal project at Tiruchirappalli .

K.K.Estate’s VEERAPPA NAGAR located at Navalpattu offers excellent facilities for the prospective plot buyers. Situated in the vicinity of residential areas like Police Colony, Sollamma Nagar, Anna Nagar and OFT , it is easily accessible from all sides .

The plots in VEERAPPA NAGAR are DTCP approved, hence eligible for all types of housing loans. The roads are 30 feet wide and well-laid and modelled on international standards. Pure drinking water is available at the depth of 40 feet. To cater to the needs of the young and old alike, a magnificent park and playground are earmarked in the layout.

The location acquires more significance since it is very near to Bharathidasan and Anna University, two important centres of higher educational campuses..It is learnt that the government has allotted land for ELCOT to start its operation in an adjacent place to this Nagar. With buses plying to and fro to all important places, it is worth to own a plot in Veerappa Nagar.

Interesting, its really nice to see Rs.175/ sqft in any city nowadays. Seems reasonabled, that too DTCP approved. Thanks for the heads up.

I thought I would give an update on this. First all, I think the hindu article is an advertisement, I have asked my friend to look closely and see if its an ad dubbed as article.

Second, the DTP approval is not complete, apparently, there is a old unused Railway track that goes parellel to the proposed site, and Railways need to give NOC, though its not a major problem, the sites were sold for 100-120 per sqft like 6 months back. This is from a very close friend who happens to know Trichy RE very well. He said there is going to be another layout just opposite to it and will update the same to me when its there. Stay tuned.

  3. Thanks Satheesh for the updates..

Hope it benefits our readers. I was surprised with the way article was appearing in Hindu. Did not look like an Advt. Not sure if Hindu is maximise its revenue thro such articles.

This area will actually affect during flood. Moreover, 1 week back collector announced to acquire additional 125 Acres for IT park, not sure how extend they will take? whether Veerapa nagar will affect? Moreover this is not a prime location, it will be behind the IT park.

    Hi Moorthy
Thanks for the update. This information is useful. It protects people from investing their hard earned money on such doubtful plots. Anyway, any idea on current prices in Navalpattu area?
