A Comprehensive Rental Lease Agreement Draft
| Recently i got to hear about a case, where in one of the tenants of an apartment posed problems when the house owner asked them to vacate. It seems the owner just the let the tenant with out a proper rental lease agreement. |
A lot of problems can be avoided should there be a lease agreement in place. While now a days lease agreements are common but still lacks clarity. It is always recommended to make a lease agreement in Rs10 -Rs 20 stamp paper.

Hello,
I want to sign a lease for 11 months on my house. I have mentioned that rent is due by the 2nd of every succeeding calendar month. What exactly does this mean? Will the rent for every month be paid by the second of that month? E.g if the tenant moves in on the 18th of the month, then the prorated rent is to be paid in advance?
